Michael L. Mieske "Ducky"

Michael passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the age of 48. He was born to Peggy Weiss on March 23, 1975 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheeler and making music.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Weiss; children, Breanna Mieske, Madison Mieske and Lucas Mieske; grandson, Sage Mieske; brothers, David Mieske and Trevor Weiss; niece, Kailah (Jose) Araujo and their children, Jayden, Landen and Sophia; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Weiss.

Memorial service for Michael will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Matyas. The family will be present to receive visitors at Gephart Funeral Home on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
