Michael J. Schroeder

Michael passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at McLaren Bay Special Care at the age of 67. Michael was born on July 6, 1954 to Harold and Marie (Carlson) Schroeder in Bay City, Michigan. He was associated with Faith Church of Nazarene. He loved playing cards and bingo. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.
Michael is survived by his mother, Marie Schroeder; significant other for 20 years, Kim Rowell; children, Janis Galarza, Justa Toland, Jennifer Rowell and Courtney (Josh) Corrion; nine grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Linda) Schroeder, Mark (Char) Schroeder and Scott (Nan) Schroeder; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Pastor Dwight Kingsbury and Pastor Larry Groulx.
At the request of Michael, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Bangor Township Hall on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
