Michael P. Sierko

Michael passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Close to Home Assisted Living in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 71. He was born on May 26, 1951 to the late Joseph and Mary (Kelsch) Sierko in Standish, Michigan. He received his Master’s degree in social work from CMU. He worked at Bay Arenac Behavioral Health as a social worker and was very proud of his work and to be part of the community. Michael always attended his son, Alec’s, sporting events, but he especially liked watching him play hockey. He was a big fan of the Redwings and Michigan football. He was a very social guy and knew so many people. He was always willing to help others and was loved by all.

Michael is survived by his son, Alec Sierko; sister, Joy Wagner and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon and brother, William.

In honoring the wishes of the Michael, cremation has taken place. A celebration of the life will be held at Castaways in Bay City, details will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
