Michael Carl Whaley

Mr. Whaley passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 15, 2018. Age 74 years. Mr. Whaley was born February 12, 1944 in Cadillac, Michigan. He loved traveling with his wife, sports and his fur kids, Zoey, Zippo and Zander.

Mr. Whaley is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy; seven children, Michael (Belva) Whaley, Brian Whaley, Matthew (Gladah) Chandler, Michelle Chandler, Amy (Jarvus) Anthony, Melissa (Scott) Shackley and Kelli (Jason) Essex; nineteen grandchildren; his mother, Meda Whaley; one brother, David (Vicki) Whaley; three sisters, Dawn (Michael) Gutierrez, Darlene (Dale) McLaughlin and Laci Swartz and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Whaley.

The Whaley family would like to extend a special thank you to the people they serve, the employees of Liberty Living, Inc., BABH, Shirley, Larry, Sue and Chet.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Boyer. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
