"Mike" Jay Michael Miller

Mike passed away January 12, 2024 at Select specialty Hospital with his loving wife by his side at the age of 71. He was born November 22, 1952 in Flint Michigan to the late Clare and Joan (Loper) Miller. Mike enjoyed hunting, mushroom picking, collecting antique guns, classic cars, participating in the Fort Michilimackinac Historical Reenactment in Mackinaw City, had a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Mike loved his dogs, Echo and Dixie and spending time with his wife, Barb.

Mike is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barb; sisters, Pam (Skip) Brown, Penny Miller, and Polly (Jim) Douglass; brothers, John Miller and Glen Miller; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his close friend who he saw as a brother, Darwin Kush.

At the request of Mike, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to the Bay County Humane Society.
