Mildred Ellen Teman

Teman, Mildred Ellen Sturm (11/1/1929-11/09/2018) died at home eight days after her 89th birthday.  She was born in Porterwood, WV to Edith and George Dewey Sturm. Mildred was predeceased by siblings Jack, Betty, Ira, and William Sturm, and grand daughter Jessica Cole Henderson. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, James E. Teman; two children, Kathy T. Henderson (Tom), Sodus, NY and Brenda Zehr (Bryan DeGraw), Kawkawlin, MI; four grand children, Dylan Zehr, Holt, MI, Brandon Zehr, Linwood, MI, Chyan Horneber (Gary), Auburn, MI, and Lawson Henderson(Carolyn), Burlington, VT; seven great grandchildren, Brock Zehr, Nolan and Garrett Zehr, Auden and Halena Horneber, Lawson Jr. and Nicholas Henderson.  She has three surviving siblings in WV, Kenneth Sturm (Sue), Jerry Sturm (Barbara), and Larry Sturm.  Mildred was a long time member of Arbor Grove Congregational Church in Jackson, MI.  After retiring from the Jacobsons Home Store in 1990 Mildred and James spent 18 wonderful years wintering in FL until they moved to Kawkawlin, MI. The family would like to thank Hospice and Dr. Daniel Drake for their exceptional care of Mildred in her last days.
