Miles McCauley

A limb has fallen from our Family tree but please do not be sad for me.  Remember all the Good times filled with laughter and song, a life fully Blessed when I was strong.  Miles passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 with his family by his side.  He was born on June 10, 1985 in Traverse City, Michigan to Michael and Brenda (Gaffney) McCauley. Miles loved a sunny day and bright blue skies and so many outdoor sports especially those involving water and snow. He was a loving father to two wonderful children Ella and Brody. He enjoyed riding bikes, playing games, and spending quality time with them. He was also a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and friend to so many. At our family parties Miles was the Pied Piper with a long trail of lovely little children dancing behind him.  Mr. Miles had a kind heart and will be so dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Miles is also survived by his children, Ella and Brody McCauley-Morse; brothers, Ryan (Alyssa) McCauley and Jason McCauley; nieces, Keelin and Miller McCauley; grandma, Gwen McCauley; aunts and uncles, Jim (Bonnie) McCauley, Carol Keeler, Chris (Ed) Tobin, Tommy (Ande) Gaffney and Mike (Sue) Gaffney; great uncle Bob and Sherry McCauley and many cousins, from New York to Michigan. Miles is predeceased by his grandparents, James McCauley, Christina Gaffney (New York Grandma) and Thomas J. Gaffney.

Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy please consider Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency (114 S Washington Ave, Bay City, MI 48708) or to the Wishes of the Family.
