Milton O. Winters Bay City, Michigan Mr. Milton O. Winters, of Bay City, passed away Saturday morning, April 30, 2016 at St. Mary's of Michigan in Saginaw, age 90. He was born on November 11, 1925 in Wisner Twp. Milton was retired from Bay City Chevrolet. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #169 and F.O.E. Aries 1010. For many years he was a manager with both Southwest Little League and Bay County Softball. Milton enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was well known to many as the "Carrot Man" in Bay City. On May 25, 1944 Milton married the former Edith M. Gorman and she survives his passing along with their three children, Randy (Pam) Winters of Auburn, Linda (Al) Bilhimer of Essexville and Debbie (Bob) Geno of Bay City; two daughters-in-law, Angela Winters of Bay City and Gail (Mike) Winters-Wisniewski of Linwood; 16 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Barb) Winters, Jenny (Chuck) Powel, Jody (Shawn) Girou, Chad Winters, Brandon (Kristi) Winters, Kyle Winters, Jessica (Mike) Weyrowske, Josh Winters, Janelle (Troy) Wunderlich, Tricia (Brent) Raquepaw, Carrie Bilhimer, Kelley (Mike) White, Kim Jerome, Ryan (Stephanie) Geno, Reagan (Jeremy) Bickel, and Robby Geno; 27 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Hazel Antcliff, Betty Barrett, Donna Androl, Pat Vinton and Margaret Ostermann; a brother, Ed Rose; and many nieces and nephews. Milton was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Winter; his mother, Sylvia Rose; two sons, Joseph Winters and David Winters; a great-grandson, Zakary Winters; and his siblings, Frank, Keith, Gene, Irene, Jackie, and Ilene. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
