Nancy passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Brian's House at the age of 86. She was born on March 22, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Edwin Sr. and Lucy (Goss) Behrmann. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church and was involved with the Choir for many years as well as the Ladies Aid. Nancy was a retired nurse from Bay Medical Care Facility. She enjoyed reading, traveling with her husband and grandsons, and getting together for lunch with her friends from the swim club.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Bryan) Clay, Timothy Appold and Warren "Whitey" (Angela) Appold; grandsons, Weston Appold and Rylan (Rachel) Appold; brothers, Bill (Mary Jo) Behrmann, Oscar (Patricia) Behrmann and James Behrmann; sister in laws, Jean Behrmann, Joan Behrmann, Lynn Behrmann, Pam Behrmann and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her Husband, Marvin Appold, whom she will now be joining in Heaven; brothers, Jerold Behrmann, Carl Behrmann, Robert Behrmann, Edwin Behrmann Jr. and Sisters, Ruth Ann Lane and Sally Nagel.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the ladies from the church for your weekly visits, that she looked forward to and really enjoyed. They would also like to thank Sara, whom she adored and ensured that she looked lovely every week, the staff from McLaren's 3rd floor and the staff from Brian's House.
Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. The family will be present in the Church Ministry Center to receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis W. Matyas. An interment at St. Paul Cemetery will follow after the service. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Ministry Center or Brian's House.
