Nancy passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 83 years. Nancy was born in Bay City on June 3, 1939 to the late Ellis and Gladys (LaFountain) Barber. She married Theodore Bradford on July 21, 1962 in Bay City. Together they raised six daughters who were their main purposes in life. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Nancy's most enjoyed accomplishments were being a wife, mother and grandmother, putting everyone else ahead of herself. All other professions were just to make an impact for others. Her greatest joy in later life were her great grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Mark) Satkowiak, Joddy (Mark) Morand, Kim (Jim) Privett, Michelle Bradford-Fielder and Teddi (Tom) Gring; son-in-law, Brian Minca; grandchildren, Nicole, Mandi, Shane, Heather, Todd, Shelby, Bradford, Megan, Khristopher, Emily, Sarah, Cameron and Patty; great grandchildren, Ava, Hollie, Gunnar, Tallulah, Sage, Gabriel, Brennen, Oliver, Mya and Maci; sister, Barbara Jean (Kenneth) Odermatt; brother, Joe (Verna) Barber; sister-in-law, Linda Pedersen, Sandy Jankowski and Kathy Suter; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Nancy Hardin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; daughter, Kelly Minca, who will welcome her into heavens glory.
Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Cremation will take place following the service and her ashes will be inurned with her mother at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
