Nancy Ann Davies

On September 27, 2022 Nancy Davies, a devoted follower of Christ, passed away at the age of 90 and went to her heavenly home. Nancy was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary (Streeter) Preston. She spent the majority of her life in Bay City where she made a home for herself along with her beloved husband, Daniel B. Davies and her three children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel B. Davies, and her siblings Clifford, Richard, Donald, William, Virginia Gertrude, Irene and Dorothy. She is survived by her three children Daniel (Rachel) Davies, Ric (Heather) Davies, and Lori Blake. She is also survived by her sibling Ken (Beverly) Preston. She was greatly loved by her grandchildren and their spouses Jena (Cisco) Morjon, Richard Davies Jr. & fiancé Katrina Toland, Tim (Amber) Davies, Jamie (Lance) Mayhew, and Justin (Celeste) Davies. She was also a proud great grandmother to Chase, Hendrix, Evelyn, Ronin, Elliana, Isabella, Dawson, Arya and a great grandson due in December (Celeste & Justin). Nancy also was preceded in death by her many beloved pets.

Nancy Davies was a long-time member of Christian Assembly Church in Bay City. She loved the Lord and could regularly be heard singing along to her favorite hymns on Christian radio while putting together a puzzle or two. She enjoyed knitting and gardening. While we mourn our loss, Nancy was anxiously awaiting the day, she would meet her Lord & Savior and be reunited with the love of her life, her husband Dan. Nancy will be forever loved and greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the Americana Seniors of Clare and their staff for their compassion and care during her transition to their facility and in her final days.

Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Floral Gardens Cemetery (2215 Cass Avenue Rd. Bay City, Michigan 48708) at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Place. Friends may visit with the family at the cemetery on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
