Nancy M. Monville

Nancy passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Bay County Medical Care Facility at the age of 87 years. She was born in Bay City on January 10, 1935 to the late Alvin and Leaella (Rexer) Karrick. On January 8, 1964 she married Paul C. Monville in Angola, Indiana and they were married for 58 years. Nancy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for many years and also worked as a bookkeeper for Consumers Energy, Garber Buick and Tri City Nursing Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on the beach, traveling, crocheting, kayaking, paddle boating, reading and playing Scrabble. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Michael (Teresa) Morrisette, Michele Brondstetter, Paula (Ron) Romanowski and John (Robin) Monville; also, ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Russell (Viola) Karrick and sister, Arlene (Joseph) Beckton.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Bender with committal following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Monville will be taken to the church to lie in state on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
