Nancy C. Wahlfeldt
Nancy passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home at the age of 86. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 8, 1935 to the late Orra and Ruth (Anderson) Ellison. Nancy was a business owner of 5 stores throughout Michigan, she loved sales. As time went on Nancy found that family was more important and retired from her business and worked for the green thumb agency and the area agency on aging. Nancy had a great smile and infectious laugh that would fill a room. She enjoyed knitting, watching TV and hearing about and doing everything with her grandchildren she would never miss the grandchildren's birthdays and would send her grandchildren a birthday and holiday card every opportunity she got. Nancy was an extremely proud of being a mother and grandmother.
Nancy is survived by her three children, Lori (Dan) Wolkens, Penny Carland and Scott (Karin) Wahlfeldt; sixteen grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Wolkens, Michael (cambriella) Wolkens, Jessica (Rob) Rauschi, Andrew (Jena) Wolkens, Andrea Carland, Charlie Carland, Sean (Shawna) Wahlfeldt, Cassie (Chris) Baker,Alexander (Erica) Wahlfeldt, Nancy, Janis,Mitchell Michelle, Crystal, Chelsea, twenty two great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Flores and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Nancy is preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Wahlfeldt; sister, June Buchanan and ex-husband, Lewis Wahlfeldt.
Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Austin. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Contributions may be made to the Bay County Animal Shelter.
