Neil W. Nitschka

Neil passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison at the age of 69. He was born to the late Wayne and Alice (Kuch) Nitschka on April 18, 1952, in Bay City Michigan. He attended TL Handy High school and went on to receive his Forestry Degree from Michigan Tech. Neil worked for the Bay County Mosquito Control, as well as the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He loved his bulldogs, dog shows, car shows, Thursday night poker, and Maple Sugar Festivals.
Neil is survived by his sister, Barbara (James) Cutler; niece, Catherine (Robert) Skoog; nephew, Carl Cutler and special friends, William and Penny Bailey.
The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nature Conservancy or the Humane Society.
