Mrs. Schuchardt passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Woodhaven of Bay City Assisted Living. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Albert and Nellie (Eckinger) Rahn was born November 23, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Schuchardt worked at K-Mart and enjoyed cake decorating and doing hair, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Schuchardt is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Joseph Grudzinski; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Paula Schuchardt; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Cliff, Kristy (Brent) Emler, Michael Leinberger, Jeremy Schuchardt and his special friend, Jade, Caleb Schuchardt, Jenna (James) Christensen and Jade Grudzinski; six great grandchildren, Ethan Cliff, Ava and Isaac Emler, Owen and Charlee Leinberger, Rhett Christensen; one brother and three sister-in-laws, Howard and Doris Rahn, Joann Rahn, and Rosemary Rahn; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Mark Anderson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Schuchardt; grandson, Joshua Schuchardt; six brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Woodhaven of Bay City Assisted Living for their kind and compassionate care they gave to Noreen, and to Loretta for giving so much of her own time to help with mom.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church or Woodhaven of Bay City Assisted Living.
