Pamela Burgeson

Pamela passed away Thursday, June 30 2022 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her sideat the age of 72. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 29, 1950 to the late Leon and Joyce (Wendt)  Prieur. Pamela was a devoted mother and grandmother who was a very kind and giving person, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to Traverse City and  Northport where she and  her friends would go shopping and visit the wineries. Pamela also loved traveling to Florida in the winter.
Pamela is survived by her two special children, Kris Burgeson (significant other, Michelle and her children, Nora and Hank); Beth (Luke) Meylan;  four grandchildren, Gage Burgeson, Wyatt Burgeson, Maren Burgeson and Mason Meylan; four siblings, Richard (Sandy) Prieur, Penny (Roger)  Zacharko, Jeff Prieur (significant other Jill) and Terrie (Ted) Freilach; special friends, Nikki Burgeson, Kathy, Carol, the Flamingo Girls, James and Nancy Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,  Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Burgeson who she married on July 24, 1976; in-laws, Alfred and Hulda Burgeson; sister, Holly VanOchten and nephew, Jeffrey VanOchten.
At the request of Pamela, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral  Home. Private Inurnment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to the American Diabetes Association.
