Pamela Jo Delaney

Pamela passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born to the late Lawrence R. and Arlene M. (Proper) Pomranky on May 8, 1950 in Midland, Michigan. She was such a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was selfless, always thinking of others before herself. She enjoyed going to craft shows and was an amazing cook. She loved dogs, especially Basset Hounds. Pamela enjoyed going for long car rides and traveling with her husband Joseph. They traveled to every state, besides three of them. She loved telling stories about her family, she was so proud of them. She was so supportive of her family and was always there for her grandchildren’s sporting events and concerts. She always watched her grandchildren and helped raise them over the years. She lived to make everyone happy.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Joseph Delaney, whom she married on June 10, 1967 and they have spent over 55 wonderful years together creating so many memories. They met in 1964 and have been inseparable since them, they were perfect for each other. She is also survived by her four sons, Joseph (Kristy) Delaney, William (Jennifer) Delaney, Benjamin (Lindsay Tanner) Delaney and Thomas (Jill) Delaney; ten grandchildren, Amber (fiancé, Mitch), Breanna, Oliver, Kenneth, Brady, Sunny, Grace, Nicolas, Kendall and Noel; great grandson, Levii; sister, Sharon Schafer; brother, Robert (Nancy) Pomranky and sister-in-law, Sue Delaney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Dement and brother and sister-in-law’s, Jim (Joann) Hintz, Terry (Diane) Delaney, Robert Delaney, Rose and Cindy.

Visitation will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Pamela’s name to the Bay County Humane Society.
