Patrice "Patti" Marie Witzke née Beauvais

Patrice (Patti) Marie Witzke née Beauvais, loving partner of Duane Kemerer, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born in Bay City, Michigan, on February 10, 1956, to Mary (Rich) and Rene Beauvais and lived there most of her life.
 
In 1974, Patti earned a cosmetologist certificate from Bayshire Beauty Academy and as a young adult worked helping people look their best for important days.  In later years, Patti enjoyed sewing, crafting, letter writing, and reading, but being a grandparent with her partner Duane is what she loved best.  This was reflected in her spirited imagination and youthful disposition – a legacy for her sweet grandchildren.
 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother David, and her cherished sister Mary. Patti is survived by her devoted partner, Duane Kemerer and his family; her three children, Jarrod (Amy), Marcus (Onika), and Kate (Dan); her beloved grandchildren, Parker, Brookelyn, Sylviana, and Amalia; her brothers and brother in-law, Bill, Bob (Joan), Paul (Kathy), and Ed; and many nieces and nephews.
 
The family expresses deep gratitude for the kindness, love, and dignity provided by the staff of The Villa at Traverse Point and Munson Medical Center.
 
Please join in celebrating Patti’s life on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, when visitation will be held at Gephart Funeral Home 201 W. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., immediately followed by funeral services. Patti’s family will continue to receive guests until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patti’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
