Patricia Kelly "Patti" Beson

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully Monday morning September 12, 2016 at her home with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Age 52 years. The daughter of the late Barbara C. Wilson and Leon Begley was born January 11, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. Patti graduated from USA High School, was a member of Midland Baptist Church, UWUA Local 104 and retired from Consumers Energy in 2012. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her Bible Study Group, bowling, and most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.
On October 24, 1981 she married Thomas L. "Tom" Beson and they would be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and he is left to cherish her memories along with three daughters and two sons-in-law; Angela Kelly Beson, of Grand Rapids, Laurie Anne and Gregory Babcock of Freeland and Nicole Diane and Thomas Creek of Lapeer, one special grandson; Connor Christopher Babcock, her brothers and sisters; Diane and Rick Young, Laurie Decker, Jeff and Emmaline Begley, Charles and Jean Begley, Marion Jean and Scott Galea, Jennifer and Jerry Ronk, one special niece; Barbara and Chad Goss, one aunt, Marion Phelps, her mother-in-law; Anne Beson, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Marie and Steve Guice, Nanette Becker, Larry and Judy Beson, Diane and Jack DeLorge, Lew Beson, John Beson, Joan and Mike Covarrubias, Fred Beson, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents Barbara and Leon, she was preceded in death by; her father-in-law; Leonard Beson, three brothers-in-law; Mike Decker, Daniel Beson and Alan Becker, one sister-in-law; Wilma Jean "Billie" Beson and two nieces; Alisha Begley and Colleen Jean.
Funeral Services will take place Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. James Payne with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive visitors on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Time of Sharing Memories at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
