Patricia L. Dwyer

Patricia passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 91 years. She was born in Saginaw on October 10, 1929 to the late Harold and Louise (Kahn) Hartl. After graduating high school, she went on to model in New York city where she later met her future husband, James. Patricia and James were married on November 25, 1950 in Saginaw and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2006 after 55 years of marriage. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at Brian's House, flower gardening, reading and loved dogs. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Debbie and Barbara Dwyer; grandchildren, Josh Jones, Kristin (Brian) Beaver and Courtney (Cole) Martineau; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Brock, Brendan, Jakob, Charlie, Leah, Cole, Elijah and Zippy; brother, Bud (Judy) Hartl and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Dwyer; brother, James Hartl and sister, Barbara Hartl.
At Patricia's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Bay County Humane Society.
