Patricia passed away with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 89. She was born on July 5, 1936 in Bay City and adopted by the late Edward and Mollie (Reaume) Roberts. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She retired from PNC bank. She lived her life through her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved vacationing and traveling with her family. Patricia loved shopping, playing cards and games, and was a master word searcher. She had lived in her house for over 60 years and loved spending time doing things around her house. One of her favorite past times was talking on the phone for hours with her family and friends. She loved helping others and would lend a hand to anyone in need.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Sue (Bill) Shaw; son, William (Sharon) Kirchhofer; granddaughters, Kristin (Dan) Hilgart and Lisa (Eric) Muir; great grandchildren, Faith, Neri, Trinity and Sage Hilgart and Natalie and Colton Muir; brother-in-law, Richard (Rose) Kirchhofer; sister-in-law’s, Arlene (Fred) Walter and Betty Mrozinski and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Kirchhofer; daughter, Karen Shaler; sister, who raised her, Marie Fekas; sisters, Loraine Shook, Betty LaMere, Eleanor Roberts and Marion Roberts.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to MyMichigan Hospice and Care Team and the staff at Bayshore Rehab Facility for everything they did to help Patricia when she needed it the most.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Nate Harburg. The Family will be present to receive visitors at the Church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Patricia’s name to Our Lady of Peace Parish or Brian’s House.
