Patricia Lynn Tackebury

Patricia passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 75. She was born on December 29, 1947 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Donald and Marie (Maxwell) Bell. She was a member of the Eagles Club F.O.E. Auxiliary #1010 for over 50 years and was the past president and secretary for over 25 years. She was also a lifetime member of the Amvets Post 22 Woman’s Auxiliary. Patricia was a school bus driver for the Bay City Public Schools for over 20 years. She loved bowling, doing crafts and puzzles, watching Broadway shows and playing all types of games. She also loved crocheting and reading, as she would do those things every day. She enjoyed traveling and visited almost every state besides Alaska. Patricia loved people and was so friendly, always trying to make people laugh. She will truly be missed by all.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Tackebury; daughters and favorite son-in-law, Jacquie (Scott) Brink and Jennifer Tackebury; grandchildren, Ryan (Alexis) Roznowski, Josh (Amanda) Brink and Kyle (Monica) Melton; 4 great grandchildren, Evalynn, Colten, Emilia and Logan; sisters, Sandra (John) Johnston and Kathleen (Dennis) Spiekerman; sister-in-law, Mary Bell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Bell Jr and sister, Judy Tacey.

Memorial Service as well as an Eagle’s Service for Patricia will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
