Randall Lee Talaga

Randall "Randy" Talaga passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Bay City on March 9, 1956 to the late Robert Talaga and Betty (Tomczak) Long. He began working as a young man at Michigan Sugar Company and continued for over 40 years until he retired, and he proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1976-1980. He married Michelle Fortin on October 8th, 2008 and they enjoyed many fun adventures together until her death in 2016.
Randy was known by all as a goofy, fun-loving guy who enjoyed spending time with friends and family - whether outside grilling, in the pool, or at the bar. His dry sense of humor was unparalleled, and he almost always had a quick wit to make people laugh. He was a devoted and loving husband, son, brother and uncle who was loved by so many.
He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Stewart and Cindy Long, and is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his loving wife Michelle (Fortin) Talaga, his father Robert Talaga, his mother Betty Long, and his sister Jane Talaga.
At the request of Randy, a cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
