Raymond H. Jacobs Sr.

Mr. Jacobs passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his residence at the age of 79. The son of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Mulders) Jacobs was born September 21, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Raymond was retired from Consumers Power and loved fishing, hunting, walking, his dogs and going to the casino.

Raymond is survived by the love of his life of 40 years, Janice; three children, Raymond H. (Cecelia) Jacobs Jr., Carrie Jacobs (Dean), Tammy Wade and her significant other, Bobby and his adopted son, Jay (Shelly) Leisentritt; two step children, Richard Talaga, Thomas (Rhiannon) Talaga; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Bernard (Bonnie) Jacobs; sisters, Dorothy Kaczor, Marlene (Ronald) Roberts and Carolyn Neveau; sister-in-law, Karen Gorski and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Lucille (Oliver) Nephew and two brothers-in-law, Francis Kaczor and Ronald Neveau.

Funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial cards for the Bay County Humane Society will be available at the funeral home.
