Richard L. Bills

Richard L. Bills "Dick" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Bills passed away Saturday morning January 30, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 88 years. He was born May 10, 1927 in Rochester, NY. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he graduated from Spartan Aeronautical College in Tulsa, OK, and retired from IBM as a Customer Engineer. On December 22, 1951 he married his wife of sixty four years the former Anne Marie Schwarzenbach in Rochester, NY and she is left behind to cherish his memories along with two daughters and two sons-in-law; Krescentia and James Arnold of Bay City and Janice and C. Michael Mangum of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren; James and Wendy Jo Arnold of Bay City, Matthew Arnold and his fiancé Jessica Carrick of Royal Oak and Laura and Jesse Dockett of Bay City, two great granddaughters; Layla and Grace Arnold and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law; Laura and Charles Clow, one brother and two sisters-in-law; Welton and Jeanne Bills and Hanle L. Lucey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Shyam Dandamudi, the staff of 3 East and the Neuro ICU at McLaren Bay Region for their exceptional and companionate care they provided to Mr. Bills during the time they cared for him. At the request of Mr. Bills cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service is being planned and will be announced by the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services at a later time.
