Richard C. "Dick" Biskner

Richard "Dick" passed away Sunday, evening June 5, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side, at the age of 87. The son of the late Joseph and Angeline (Retlewski) Biskner was born February 14, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan. He and his wife, Marlene owned and operated D & M Services until they retired in 2017. PaPa was Mr. Fix-It, he could fix anything. He loved bowling, playing poker and cribbage, doing yard work, making decals and collecting and refurbishing old toys.
Richard is survived by his children, Bob (Darlene) Biskner, Cherie Ferguson, Wendy (Mitchell) Mendyk, Joe (Fred Czerewko) Biskner and Vicki (David) Grauf; grandchildren, Gage, Scott, Joelle, Mark, Rob (Sushila), Brian (Paige), Angela (Mike), Dru, Eric (Sara) and Sara (Ryan); great grandchildren, Allie, Aiden, Hadley, Odin, Brecken, Olivia, Victoria, Connor, Athena and Julia; brother and sisters-in-law, William and Marlene Biskner and Rita Biskner; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John (Debbie) Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marlene Kay Biskner and she passed away, April 8, 2022; son-in-law, Mike Ferguson; brothers, George, Tom and Larry Biskner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kay Biskner, Dolores and Clifford Beson and Tom Campbell and his great grandson, Owen Collins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Department of Aging Region 7, Residential Hospice and his grandson, Brian Mendyk for their compassion and care that they gave to Richard.
At the request of Richard cremation has taken place. A joint visitation for Richard and Marlene will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral home, Inc.
