Richard R. Kowalski

Kowalski, Richard R. Bay City, Michigan Richard passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 64 years. The son of the late Richard R. Sr. and Betty Ann (McAlinden) Kowalski was born May 22, 1951 in Bay City, MI. Richard was a professional musician, played in numerous polka bands and variety bands throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling with Sue, reading and spending time with his pet dog, Samantha Kay. Left to cherish his memory are his wife the former Susan K. Bartel whom he married February 14, 2003, his brothers and sisters; Kathleen (Art) Moultane, Marilyn Weiler, Stanley (Marlene) Kowalski, Raymond (Teryl) Kowalski, Dolores (Tom) Meier, Geraldine (David) Gould, Virgil (Teena) Kowalski and Joseph (Ann) Kowalski, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; James Bartel, Thomas (Felicia Cary) Bartel, Patricia (Tim) Wegener, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother; Michael (Sue) Kowalski, his infant brother; Stephen Kowalski and his beloved dog; Charlie At the request of Richard cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell. The family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to receive family and friends from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
