Richard "Rick" G. Lawler

Rick passed away Tuesday March 28, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 70. The son of the late Gordon and Edna (Moll) Lawler was born September 6, 1952 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Rick was retired from General Motors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, drinking beer with his friends in the Party Barn and collecting old unique cars.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, LouAnn (Griebe) Lawler; one son, Brian Lawler and Katie Dubke; two brothers, Thomas (Lynnette) Lawler and Mike (Diane) Lawler; one sister, Christine Lawler and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his special son, Chad Michael Lawler; special brother-in-law, Bob Sharrard; special friend, Don Voss; brothers, Jack, Jerry, Ronald, and Eugene Lawler.

At the request of Rick, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at the Gephart Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
