Robert J. Ford

Robert passed away on Friday, June 08, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 86 years. Robert was born on September 23, 1931 in Saginaw and was a resident of Bay City all of his life. Bob was a member of Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church where he was active in the color guard for the Knights of Columbus Council #414 and was a clown by the name of "Woody". Bob enjoyed woodcarving and belonged to the Tri-City Carvers Club.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Jac (Joann) and Earl Ford; special friend, Charmaine Pintoski; special granddaughters, Diane Kirkbride and Deborah Ball; niece, Merry (Bob) Lee; many nieces and nephews and the Gould family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife Rita Ford and second wife, Caroline Ford.
Per Robert's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial liturgy will take place at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Private inurnment will take place in Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
