Robert E. Horner

Mr. Horner passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 85 years. The son of the late Floyd Alfred and Lena Marie (Bachman) Horner was born January 22, 1931 in Bay City, Michigan. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from Dow Chemical Company as a pipe fitter. He is survived by one daughter; Debra Jacobs, several grandchildren , great grandchildren, one sister and one brother-in-law; Marilyn and Robert Obermiller, one brother; Calvin Horner and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Floyd and Lena he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters-in-law; Frank and Albertine Horner and Marjean "Jeanie" Horner. At the request of Mr. Horner there will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place at the Sunset Valley Crematory with private Inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial cards for the Bay County Humane Society will be available at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
