Rodney Lee Engelhardt "Rod"

Rod passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Hospital at the age of 54. He was born in Cass City on August 25, 1969 to Gerald and Joyce (Gibbs) Engelhardt. He had his own lawn care business, Rod’s Lawn Care, and it was his passion. He loved spending time at home with his wife, Nona and their dog, Lucy and cats, Miss Kitty, Salt and Pepper. He enjoyed shooting pool, he was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.
Rod is survived by his wife, Nona Engelhardt; mother, Joyce Gibbs; dog, Lucy; cats, Miss Kitty, Salt and Pepper; sisters, Brenda (Mike) Gokey, Patti (Jerry) Harrison and Kim (Wes) Evenson; brothers, Fred (Connie) Engelhardt and Mitch Engelhardt; three daughters, Angie, Erin and Sheea; several grandchildren; special nephew, Christopher and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Engelhardt; brothers, Mike Engelhardt and Al Engelhardt and beloved dog, Sassy.

In honoring the wishes of Rod, cremation had taken place and no services are being planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made the Wishes of the family.
