Rodney A. Sauers

Rodney Sauers passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McLaren Bay Region, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 60. He will be deeply loved and forever missed by all who knew him.

Rodney was born on September 26, 1965, to Kenneth and Bonnie (Zielinski) Sauers. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his dogs, and making lasting memories with his family. Rodney was also actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and LVCCM, where he found friendship, support, and the opportunity to help others.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Trevor (Ashley Keenan) Sauers and Garrett Sauers; his grandchildren, Trevor Sauers Jr. and Kellen Keenan; his mother, Bonnie Randall; his brother, Rick (Marti) Sauers; his stepbrother, Danny Dupuis; his nephew, Andrew Sauers; niece, Leslie Leach; his former daughter-in-law, Jessica Sauers (Jeremy Pace); his stepmother, Carolyn Sauers; and his special friends, Norm and Tammy. Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth A. Sauers, and his grandparents, Grace and Richard Zielinski.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church. Pastor James Chinery will officiate, with interment to follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.

Rodney's family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
