Ronald J. Thume Jr.

Ron passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Covenant Cooper, Saginaw at the age of 50 years. He was born in Bay City on March 1, 1971 to Ronald and Rosemarie (Martek) Thume. Ron graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1989 and went on to receive his Associates degree from Delta College. Ron married the former Beth Ball on September 12, 1997 and they were married for 24 years. He worked for many years at Independent Bank as an IT Systems Analyst. In his spare time, he enjoyed Geocaching, camping, playing Cornhole, electronics, disc golfing and paranormal activity.
Ron is survived by his wife, Beth; son, Braydin; daughter, Rylee; mother, Rosemarie; brother, Ryan; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog, Oakley. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ron Sr. and brother, Richard Thume.
Memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
