Roy J. Gilmore

Mr. Gilmore passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 75 years. The son of the late Russell and Eva (Arnold) Gilmore was born September 28, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Gilmore was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was retired from General Motors Powertrain, he enjoyed camping, fishing, his John Deere's, riding his Harley, hanging out with his buddies at Burger King, spending winters in Florida and his special dog, Bowser.

Mr. Gilmore is survived by his wife the former Elaine Bannick whom he married on August 27, 1977; one daughter, Abigail Gath (David Flewelling); three sons, Kevyn, Keith (Glen) Craig (Kim) Gilmore; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Noah, Connor, Liam, Jacob, Tyler and Sophie; one great granddaughter, Lilah; one sister, Debra (Chris) King; special daughter-in-law, Kathi (David) Gushen; one special niece, Eva (Don) Carrier and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Roseberry and Donna Gilmore; one brother, Ray Gilmore; son-in-law, Tim Gath and his son, Richard Foster.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Toni and Trish House for their compassion and care.

At the request of Mr. Gilmore private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery and there will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Toni and Trish House.
