Ruth M. Wagoner

Ruth passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 93 years. Ruth was born in Alpena, Michigan on December 22, 1927 to the late Martin and Margaret (Hasse) Domke. On March 4, 1961 she married David P. Wagoner and were married for 60 years. Ruth was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was involved with the ladies' luncheon committee and cleaning the church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, working in her flower and vegetable gardens and cooking.
Ruth is survived by her husband, David; children, Duane (Cheryl) Hartman, Darwin Hartman and Christine Wagoner; sisters, Dorothy (James) Schubbe and Emma (Larry) Nelson; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Ferguson and Josephine Ruth McPhail; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Marlin Hartman; brothers, Frederick (Shirley) Domke, Rufus "Rudy" Domke and Harry (Patricia) Domke; sister, Violet (Donald) Robinson and sister-in-law, Dorothy Domke.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Hall with interment following in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
