Wilson, Ruth A. Bay City, Michigan Ruth passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late Ira and Clara (Boehm) Wilson was born April 1, 1916 in Bay City, MI. She was the oldest an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday School, a deaconess, a member of it's women's association and worked in the church office. She retired from Delta College where she worked in the admissions office as an administrative assistant. She was a former member of the Business and Professional Women of Bay City and a member of Bay Area Chapter of retired teachers. She is survived by one sister; Dorothy Niemann of Bay City, one brother; Donald E. Wilson of Rockton, IL.,one-sister-in-law; Pat Wilson, her nieces and nephews; Jeff Wilson, Christy Delaney, Kathleen Niemann, William Niemann Jr., Richard Wilson, Cindy Wiersma and Karen Breckenridge, her great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers; Jack Wilson and Howard Wilson, her brother-in-law; William A. Niemann and one sister-in-law; Virginia Wilson. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with private interment in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ruth will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
