Sally J. Payne (Leyrer)

Sally passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Carriage House at the age of 91. She was born on November 5, 1930 to the late Arthur and Frieda (Elftman) Leyrer in Pigeon, Michigan. She lived thoughtfully, she lived thankfully, she lived truthfully.
She rests now with her beloved "Jim", whose smile captivated and comforted her every day. She lives in the hearts and souls of her children Jim (Lucille), Cyndy (Brian) and Bob (Michelle); grandchildren, James, Sarah (Chad), Josh, Jeremy, Hogan, Erik and Justice; great grandchildren, Violet and Ryliegh; amazing nieces and nephews; latch key sons and daughters, Sunday school students, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and of course Messiah pre-school grads.
At the request of Sally, cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at a later date at Floral Gardens Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church.
