Mr. Piotrowski passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center. Age 92 years. The son of the late Nicholas and Genevieve (Pelletier) Piotrowski was born July 21, 1925 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Piotrowski was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting. He also enjoyed vegetable gardening, watching NASCAR, feeding the birds, reading and cutting the grass on his riding mower. Mr. Piotrowski also served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Mr. Piotrowski is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Diebel and Karen (Robert) Fischer; four grandchildren, Jason (Kari) Diebel, Cassandra (Jason) Maude, Caryn Diebel and Jeffrey Fischer; six great grandchildren, Samuel, Caleb "Cable", Claire, Jaxson, Benjamin and Grayson; one sister, Pat Micho; good friend, Jack Greenleaf and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Piotrowski; one son, Don Piotrowski and seven siblings.

Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Parish. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak with private interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Piotrowski will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the ARC of Bay County or Area 22 Special Olympics.
