Sandra K. Reinhold

Sandra K. Reinhold of Bay City, MI was born on October 13, 1942, the middle daughter of James and Hilda Simmet of Sebewaing, MI. Sandy graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1960 and then attended the Dorsey Business School in Saginaw. She worked as a secretary for Sebewaing Light and Water Dept. for over 40 years. Sandy resided at Midland Manor in Bay City and attended St. Catherine of Siena Church. She enjoyed many trips to Hawaii, reading, Michigan State basketball, dinners out with family and friends, and time with her grandchildren.

She was a devoted mother of two sons, Rev. William Kunisch of Kihei, HI and Eric Kunisch (Jorri Novak) of Midland, MI who survive her. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ella Kunisch and Andrew Kunisch of Midland, Haley Novak of Chicago and Carter Novak of Midland, her brother James Simmet of Sebewaing and her sister Sylvia Honey (Gene) of Riverview, MI.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Bay City. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass and a luncheon to follow in the parish hall. The Committal Service will take place at Silverlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing, MI on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toni and Trish House for the Terminally Ill in Auburn, MI or St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Bay City.
