Sandra Sue Waldie

Mrs. Waldie passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living at the age of 80. The daughter of the late Walter and Magdalena (Rotarious) Dinse was born March 27, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Sandra enjoyed camping, taking care of her household and was the keeper of all dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Waldie is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Lloyd Waldie; two daughters, Kathleen (Troy) Zaucha and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Kuch; four grandchildren, James (Erin) Kuch, Stephanie (Mike) Rogers, Tyler Kuch and his fiancée, Mariah Anderson and Jared Kuch; two great grandchildren, Ellie and Lucy Kuch and one special friend, Glenda Klump. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one son, John James Waldie and one special cousin, Patricia Binnall.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sheffield Bay for all their kind and loving care over the past two years.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Gary L. Bender with private interment following at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for Faith Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
