Scott H. Dean

Scott passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at his home at the age of 75. The son of the late Harry and Louann (Young) Dean was born October 13, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan. Scott served his country in the U.S. Navy and was retired from General Motors Delphi, he also enjoyed traveling and was the past financial secretary for the UAW retirees. 

Scott is survived by his son, Chad (Renee) Dean; stepson, Matthew Thorne; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Dean and her significant other, Jake McIntyre; one brother, Clark (Doris) Dean; two sisters, Barbara Dean and Susan Dean DeShaw and many nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, Scott was also preceded in death by his wife, Kerry Dean.

At the request of Scott, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
