Sharon M. Kukla

Sharon passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 79 years. She was born in Bay City on March 23, 1943 to the late Boyce and Marguerite (Mulholland) Doan. Sharon married Donald "Kookie" Kukla on August 10, 2002 in Bay City and spent 21 years together until his passing on August 4, 2021. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Sharon worked for many years at Mutual Savings Bank (Independent Bank) as a bank teller. Most of all Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends.
Sharon is survived by her children, Paul (Lisa) Kilvington, Heather Kilvington, Kimberly (Shelly) Kukla and Douglas (Angela) Abernathy, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol, Diane, Charlotte and Grace and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, David and Ronald Doan.
