Theodore "Ted" N. Meyer

Ted passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Brian’s House with his family by his side at the age of 87. He was born August 15, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan to the late John and Margaret (Schepper) Meyer. Ted graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree. He then began working at Mercy Hospital in Bay City, Bay Osteopathic in Bay City for many years and at Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Medical Center as a pharmacist. Ted was a devoted member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, classic cars, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Ted is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda; son, Steve (Laura) Meyer; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Stachowiak and grandchildren, Ryan Meyer, Benjamin Meyer, Theodore Stachowiak and Hannah Stachowiak. In addition to his parents, Ted is preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Caroline and Lawrence “Bud” Decorte.

A private funeral service will take place at a later date. Officiating will be Pastor Joel Pankow with private interment at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.
