Mr. Wazbinski passed away Sunday evening, September 4, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side at the age of 84 years. The son of the late Frank and Mary (Suida) Wazbinski was born March 14, 1932 in Linwood, MI. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Ted retired from Dow Chemical in Midland, he also provided Income Tax Services for over 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #414 and a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church booster club and was very active with the fish fry's. He had a passion for cars. Ted served his country in the U.S. Army. Left behind to cherish his memories are his good kids, Susan (Martin) Klett, Cathy (Jerry Sharrow) Wazbinski, Jackie (Michael) Showalter, Julie (George) Wiskup, Lori (Rod) Streeter; Mary (Michael) Jasinski and James (Beth) Wazbinski; Papa to seventeen grandchildren; The Great Papa to twenty two great grandchildren and expecting three more; one sister, Irene Dubuis; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Victor Szafranski, Peter Niedzielski, Kay Loan, Michael and Kay Salogar; his special friend, Lois Landrie; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wazbinski whom he married December 1, 1956; his great granddaughter, Madisyn Warju; his sisters, Francis Szafranski and Ann Niedzielski; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joyce Wazbinski; his brothers-in-law, Emery Dubuis, Jack Salogar and Dr. George Loan. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church 1000 S. Wenona St., Bay City, MI 48706. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with private entombment in Calvary Mausoleum. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday to receive family and friends from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the Knights of Columbus #414 bible presentation. Mr. Wazbinski will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ArcVista Home Care Inc.
