Our father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was 64 years old. Tom was raised in Essexville, attended Garber High School where he was proud to be a Garber Duke where he played football and baseball. He then attended Northwood Institute on an athletic scholarship to play football. After graduation he moved to California where he spent the next 30 years of his life. He returned to Bay City in 2011. He was looking forward to attending the induction of his high school football team into the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame in November. He loved sports especially the Angels, the Tigers and anything University of Michigan.
He is survived by his children Troy Ambrose Trimble and his wife Crystal, his daughter Jennifer Michele Schmidt and her husband David and two grandchildren, Avery Trimble and Margot Schmidt. All from California. He is also survived by the remaining T's, Tari (T1) Detzler and husband, Lyn from Bay City, Tim (T3) and wife Tina (T3.5) from Texas, Todd (T4) Trimble and Tamara (T5) Duke both of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his mother, Alice Trimble-Smith, his father, Gerald Ambrose Trimble, and his stepfather, Donald Robert Smith.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
