Timothy C. Witzke

It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy Charles Witzke announce his sudden passing, at age 66, on January 1, 2026, at Covenant Harrison in Saginaw, Michigan.

Tim was born in Bay City, Michigan, on November 5, 1959. He loved watching NASCAR, the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Tigers and Michigan football. He was also a connoisseur of old Westerns. He was the friendliest and most gregarious person in our family. He never met a stranger and everyone who knew him will miss his trademark greeting of a knuckle bump and the words “Power-Up!”.

Tim was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sherry Lynn Hecox (Richardson), his Step-father, Ernest Cecil Hecox, his father, Morris John Witzke and beloved nephew, Russell James Witzke.

Tim is survived by his siblings, Matthew Witzke (Renee), Linda Vanaman (Bill), Scott Witzke (Wanda), Jill Heyman, Jackie Engelhardt (Rob) and Todd Hecox (and Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and life-long friend, Fred Reyez.

It was Tim’s wish to be cremated and no service held. Instead, lift your drink of choice and tell your favorite “Timmy” story.
