Veronica J. Stevens

Veronica passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Carriage House after a short illness at the age of 65. The daughter of the late Newton and Helen (Weiss) Stevens was born April 28, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan. Veronica retired from Walmart as a cashier and enjoyed stamping, making cards, writing journals and collecting ceramic cats.
Veronica is survived by her significant other, James Morgan; siblings, Dale Stevens, Diane Davis and her significant other, Daniel Nowak, Mike (Linda) Stevens and Rodger Stevens; nieces and nephews, Timothy (Ashley) Davis and their children, Aaron and Austin, Chris (LeAnn) Davis and their children Morgan (Megan) and family, Joel (Brooke) Stevens, Todd (Ashley) Stevens and their children, Jonathan and Bryan, Holly (Jared) Bigelow and their son, Adam; her aunt, Hulda Weiss and many cousins; special cousins, Charlotte Huber, Lisa (Eric) Clousing and Shelly Gruszynski; special friends, Cindy O’Harris, Diane Biskner and Ruthie Coleman; and her special companion, her cat, Tabby.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Carriage House and McLaren Hospice for their compassion and care that they gave to Veronica.
A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Private Inurnment will take place at a later date at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for Immanuel Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society will be available at the church.
