Victor M. Matuszewski "Chip"

Chip passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side, at the age of 60. He was born June 25, 1961 to the late Victor and Marie (Berthiaume) Matuszewski in Bay City, Michigan. Chip loved helping others, but he also enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, grilling, playing piano, working out at the gym, spending time with his family and friends, and most of all hearing his daughter sing and his kids succeed.
Chip is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet (Deford) Matuszewski; three children, Kyle Jeffrey Matuszewski, Jacob Andrew (Kaylie) Matuszewski, and Samantha Marie Matuszewski; special pets Phileas and Tony; brothers, Tom (Ruth Ann) Matuszewski and Mark (Lisa) Matuszewski; Godson, Troy Matuszewski and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Chip is preceded in death by his brother Tim Matuszewski, sister Nancy Matuszewski, and his mother and father-in-law Bernadine and Earl Deford.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. The Concelebrants will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm and Fr. Bert Gohm.
