Virginia A. Tober (Kozubal) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Tober passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 96 years. The daughter of the late Bartholomew and Catherine (Mularz) Kozubal was born January 30, 1919 in Bay County and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and it's Ladies Aid. Virginia enjoyed polka dancing, gardening, an occasional trip to the casino and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Left behind to cherish her memories are one son; Richard (Vi) Tober, one daughter; Marsha Tober, five grandchildren; Kevin (Kathy)Tober, Kelli (Steve) Asel, Dawn (Jim) Rollin, Chris Gath, Kim (Brock) Kennedy, twenty one great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, several step grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. On October 12, 1940 she married Rudolph Tober and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1984. Mrs. Tober was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; Jamie Ballard in March 2, 2014, five sisters; Mary Kryska, Tillie Maillette, Wanda Short, Stella Mitts and Genevieve Garpiel and five brothers; Anthony, Edward, Theodore, Chester and Leonard Kozubal. The Tober family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Bay Medical Care Facility for the kind and compassionate care, the hugs and kisses that were given to our mom when we couldn't be there. Also a special thank you to Alice for the extra special care she gave to Virginia in always making our mother look beautiful. Funeral and Committal Service will take place Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church 706 W Jane St, Bay City, MI 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe with private interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the church on Thursday to receive visitors from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Grade School Tuition Fund.
