Wayne M. Marcet

Wayne passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 78. He was born January 7, 1944 to the late Emil and Eda (Taylor) Marcet in Flint, Michigan. Wayne loved drag racing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris (Knoellinger) Marcet; three sons, Wayne (Jacklyn) Marcet Jr., Billy (fiancé Cynthia Weiler) Marcet and Mike (Jessica) Marcet; daughter in law, Beverly Marcet; four grandchildren, Steven Marcet, Andrew Marcet, Ryan Dirla and Matthew Marcet; nine great grandchildren; brother, Ron (Jane Adamski) Marcet; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his son, Terry Marcet.
Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Zach Steinke with Entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home and on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Gephart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
